Certified Duct and Envelope Tightness (DET) Verifiers
Chattanooga’s 1st Duct and Envelope Tightness (DET) Verifier Class Congrats to the new DET Verifiers! green|spaces first Duct and Envelope Tightness (DET) Verifier class was a huge success! Chattanooga now has 14 trained DET Verifiers to assist in the diagnostic testing for code compliance as required by the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code and Chattanooga Amendment.

It is for business owners looking to reduce their environmental impact, save money and communicate with their patrons that they are committed to operating with our shared natural resources in mind. Duct and Envelope Tightness (DET) Verifcation
On January 1, 2013, the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) with the City of Chattanooga Amendments became mandatory. The City of Chattanooga amendments include a provision that the required diagnostic testing be performed by a Certified Duct and Envelope Tightness (DET) Verifier. A certified DET verifier shall be a certified Home Energy Rating Systems (HERS) Rater, or be a Building Performance Institute (BPI) analyst, or successfully complete a certified DET Verifier course approved by the City of Chattanooga.

The Roof Top Hop
The Rooftop Hop will consist of six parties on rooftops around downtown Chattanooga. All inclusive ticket holders will be able to hop around five exclusive rooftop parties. Each rooftop will have drinks and light hors d’oeuvres for guests from 6pm until 8pm, when the main rooftop party begins.
